Services
Basic foundational information can be found on YouTube @symmetryseekers123 Please enjoy this service at your own pace and share with family and friends. This is a public service that ideally would have been taught to all Elementary School children and scaffolded with more complex applications in Middle School and High School.
As it stands, student success does not consistently translate into success in adulthood. However, as adults, we have the opportunity to continue learning—and to apply that knowledge to improve our long-term trajectory. All services begin with a complimentary 15-minute phone or video consultation to discuss client-specific needs and goals. Services are offered in the following formats: •Teaching •Coaching •Consulting Areas of focus include, but are not limited to: •8 Training: Breath, Body, Thoughts and Feelings •Posture •Strength and Efficiency •Breathwork •Behavior •IEP Advocacy •Inclusion Assessment •Organizational Culture Change (Corporate & Domestic) •Plant Medicine (Education and Integration Support) All services provided are interconnected and never isolated. Progress in one area naturally strengthens others, supporting holistic and sustainable personal growth. The foundational service—available on YouTube (@SymmetrySeekers123)—can be adapted for implementation in schools with age-appropriate modifications. At present, the material is designed for adults to teach and apply within their own families and communities. In general, a service represents the application of labor, expertise, or time provided by one party to another—such as consulting, education, or hospitality. Services may be consumer-focused, business-oriented, or public, and they play an essential role in modern economic activity. My family lineage is deeply rooted in public and military service, tracing back to the American Revolutionary War and beyond. For generations, nearly every male—and many females—held titles of at least “Officer Carr.” I am the first “Mr. Carr” in my line, carrying that legacy forward in a different form. I have served in the ways I was called to at each stage of life and, more recently, have transitioned into the business world as an educator. My Big Hairy Audacious Goal (BHAG) is to influence California state legislation by expanding the approach to K–8 physical education. Specifically, aimed to integrate the core areas of Breath, Body, Thoughts, and Feelings into existing PE programs. Even a modest investment of time each week in the areas proposed has the potential to improve nearly every metric used to measure student success.

Teaching
Teaching involves ongoing support delivered at regular intervals. For those seeking a lower level of engagement, please consider coaching or the consulting service. Teaching can be provided one-on-one or structured for small groups, teams, and staff. Curriculum offerings are extensive and begin with a complimentary 15-minute introductory call. Historically, services have included one-on-one academic remediation for K–12 students, both in classroom settings and through in-home tutoring. Mr. Carr has since expanded his curriculum to include health optimization, with a focus on postural alignment (AlignSmart Technologies™) and cardiovascular performance ranging from foundational correction to elite endurance (The Oxygen Advantage®). Clients range from children to professional athletes, all benefiting from a structured and individualized approach. Outside of traditional school systems, Mr. Carr has often identified learning challenges prior to formal district evaluations and initiated early remediation while families awaited official diagnoses. He has also provided consulting support by developing instructional materials and training parents to effectively deliver one-on-one tutoring at home. Behavior is a significant factor in the learning process at all ages. Acquiring new skills can be uncomfortable—particularly when guided by a parent or when self-awareness and discipline are still developing. As a result, behavior support is often necessary not only for mastering subject matter, but also for improving performance and relationships in other areas of life. To maximize his impact, Mr. Carr offers consulting services in addition to direct teaching. He prioritizes working directly with clients when appropriate and refers to trusted colleagues when needed to ensure each individual receives the best possible support.

Coaching
Coaching involves ongoing support delivered at less frequent intervals than teaching. Coaching is generally more frequent than consulting. For those seeking a lower level of engagement, please consider the self-paced YouTube curriculum or future community speaking engagements. Coaching services focus primarily on athletic performance, while often extending into areas that overlap with health and wellness. All services begin with a complimentary 15-minute introductory call. Mr. Carr has extensive experience coaching a wide range of youth sports, including less common disciplines such as martial arts and rugby. He holds multiple certifications in postural alignment and force output, enabling him to support both performance enhancement and injury prevention. Coaching may also address behavioral and psychological challenges. While Mr. Carr is not a licensed psychologist or psychiatrist, he is a professional behaviorist with extensive training in the field of psychology. Physical support services are informed by his work with AlignSmart Technologies™ (see “Team” tab). Conditions addressed may include, but are not limited to: traumatic brain injury (TBI), scoliosis, disc herniations or bulges, lower back pain, major joint pain, TMJ, and various spinal dysfunctions. Breath coaching is the foundation of Symmetry Seekers 123. Instruction may also support individuals experiencing conditions such as asthma, COPD, and emphysema. Under a physician’s supervision, coaching may help reduce reliance on interventions such as CPAP machines. Mr. Carr currently provides breath and posture coaching to clients of all ages, including professional athletes, high school soccer teams, members of the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire Department, and participants in corporate wellness programs.

IEP Advocacy
Specialized Service: Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Support
An Individualized Education Plan (IEP) is, at minimum, an annual meeting involving school officials, teachers, parents, and related service providers. It is a legally binding agreement between the school district and the family that outlines a student’s current services, progress, and future educational plan. These meetings can be complex and, at times, stressful for all involved. Multiple follow-up meetings are often required to address all agenda items thoroughly. While collaboration is the intended goal, the process can sometimes feel adversarial. Mr. Carr approaches every IEP with the student’s best interest as the top priority. At the same time, he recognizes that school districts must operate within budgetary constraints and are legally required to provide FAPE (Free and Appropriate Public Education). The term “appropriate,” however, can be open to interpretation, which may create confusion or differing expectations among participants. Many parents become more familiar with their rights over time, while others may feel uncertain navigating technical language, timelines, and procedural nuances. Even highly educated parents can find IEP meetings overwhelming and may hesitate to ask for clarification. Mr. Carr works to bridge this gap by providing clear communication, practical guidance, and steady advocacy. His goal is to reduce confusion, support informed decision-making, and help all parties move toward alignment and shared understanding. IEP support services may include preparation, meeting attendance, and follow-up consultation. In some cases, this is a one-time engagement supported by background review and strategic input.

Inclusion Assessment
Specialized Service: Inclusion & Least Restrictive Environment (LRE) Assessment
Mr. Carr spent the majority of his professional career working within school districts that implement inclusion (also referred to as mainstreaming), where students with disabilities are educated alongside their same-aged peers for part or all of the school day. Inclusion typically involves a range of supports, including modifications, accommodations, and supplementary services such as one-on-one aides or behavior support plans. School districts are legally required to provide education in the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE), ensuring that students are placed in settings that balance access to general education with appropriate support. In practice, determining the “right” placement can be complex. District decisions are often influenced by available resources and system-wide considerations, while families may have different expectations based on their child’s unique needs. As a result, LRE is frequently a central point of discussion—and sometimes disagreement—during IEP meetings. Mr. Carr specializes in evaluating the full range of variables that impact student placement and services. His goal is to help families and districts reach informed, balanced agreements that prioritize the student’s success. His services may include: •Attending IEP meetings as a family advocate •Serving as a neutral third-party mediator for school districts •Conducting classroom observations (“shadowing”) to assess current placement and future needs •Evaluating whether existing supports align with the student’s educational goals When families question district assessments, Mr. Carr can also provide independent, one-on-one evaluations to either validate or challenge existing findings. Mr. Carr is frequently hired by school districts to make non-biased recommendations. Mr. Carr is typically engaged early in the process—before formal mediation and well before legal proceedings. His approach is to resolve concerns collaboratively whenever possible, reducing the need for due process, which is often pursued when families and districts are unable to reach an agreement.
Plant Medicine
Specialized Service: Plant Medicine (Education & Integration)
Mr. Carr’s perspective is grounded in both formal education and ongoing study of traditional healing systems. His focus is not on promoting medicine use, but on understanding human development at a deeper level. In many cases, the most effective approach is not adding more interventions, but refining the fundamentals—what he refers to as “The new medicine is NO MEDICINE.” Mr. Carr approaches this area of service with care and discretion. Due to his ongoing relationships with public school systems and first responder communities, plant medicine services are not widely advertised. Clients are encouraged to make informed, thoughtful decisions when exploring this area. The term “plant medicine” is often associated with Ayahuasca, a traditional Amazonian brew used in spiritual and healing contexts. Mr. Carr does not provide Ayahuasca ceremonies or related services. Scope of Practice Mr. Carr works exclusively with legal substances within the United States and emphasizes ethical, sustainable sourcing. He maintains relationships with experienced practitioners across various disciplines and can provide referrals when appropriate—including access to reputable retreat settings for those seeking more traditional experiences outside the United States. A Broader View of Medicine Mr. Carr often uses the term Universal Medicine to reflect a more inclusive understanding of healing. This includes not only plant-based practices, but also foundational elements such as: •Sunlight •Breath •Movement •Cold exposure •Connection with nature and animals These modalities are often overlooked, yet remain among the most accessible and sustainable tools for regulating the body and mind. Mr. Carr has personally incorporated practices such as daily cold exposure for nearly two decades. The plant medicines Mr. Carr currently works with include: •Kambo (frog-derived peptides) •Rapé (ha-peh), a finely ground ceremonial snuff •Tobacco, one of the oldest cultivated plants in the Americas •Sananga, eye drops derived from Amazonian plant sources For additional information on Kambo, please refer to the “Team” section and resources connected to Cosmo Visions Inc. While Ayahuasca has gained popularity in Western contexts—often for mental health and addiction support—its use carries important considerations. Like any powerful intervention, outcomes depend heavily on context, preparation, and integration. Misuse, overuse, and commercialization have contributed to ongoing controversy within the broader plant medicine space. Traditionally, some cultures approached these medicines with structure and restraint—often as part of a broader developmental process that included preparation, guided experience, and lifelong integration. In contrast, modern usage can sometimes prioritize frequency or environment over intention and discipline. It is important to note that Mr. Carr is early in his formal shamanic training and approaches this work with humility and respect for its cultural origins.
Multi Day Retreats
Specialized Event
Offerings through Cosmo Visions Inc. Mr. Carr is one of the instructors and involved with curriculum development and integration.
Men’s retreats are designed to create an environment where men can step away from the demands of daily life and reconnect with themselves, others, and the natural world. Through guided experiences in nature, hiking, and intentional technology detox, participants are encouraged to slow down, reduce stress, reflect, and build authentic relationships grounded in trust and communication. Practices such as cold plunge immersion, traditional sweat lodge ceremonies, breathwork, and group discussion circles are often used to promote resilience, self-awareness, emotional expression, and mental clarity. Equally important is the integration process, where participants develop practical tools and strategies to apply the lessons learned during the retreat once they return home, including strengthening communication, presence, and connection with their families. These retreats provide a structured space for personal growth, accountability, and meaningful conversation, helping men strengthen both their inner well-being and their connection to community. Retreats are held at a private campground located on the Folsom Lake Peninsula in the Northern California foothills. The majority of the retreat takes place on tribal land, and with advance reservation, participants may choose to add a single-day whitewater rafting trip at the conclusion of the retreat. The campground offers basic amenities, including showers and flush toilets, as well as an indoor teaching space and 26 acres of outdoor space featuring private trails and scenic vistas. Nutritious meals are provided throughout the retreat, culminating in a community feast on the final day. Participants should plan to arrive by 10:00 AM on the first day of the retreat and depart by 5:00 PM on the final day. @Symmetry Seekers 123
The catalyst for the creation of this company was initially the completion of a vendor application for Sacramento County, where Mr. Carr now works with the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire Department. He began working within the fire academy in 2024 and, by 2026, expanded his services to support all department members. In addition, he now works with groups of athletes and privately coaches elite professional athletes, including UFC's Anthony “Fluffy” Hernandez. Mr. Carr integrates techniques from The Oxygen Advantage to enhance athletic performance and applies principles from the Buteyko Method to support individuals experiencing conditions such as Asthma, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, and Emphysema. Under the supervision of a physician, this work may also help reduce reliance on interventions such as CPAP machine. A core principle of this work is the inseparable relationship between breath and posture: optimal breathing requires proper posture, and proper posture depends on effective breathing. This understanding led to a collaboration with Chuck McGee III, who became both a posture client and breath mentor. Chuck is the first American to train in Poland under Wim Hof. Through this connection, Mr. Carr was introduced to James Nestor, a New York Times bestselling author, and was later invited to speak on posture at a week-long BREATH retreat in Costa Rica. (See the interview with Chuck McGee III under the “Resources” tab.) One of Mr. Carr’s earliest memories involves being introduced to water as an infant as he held his breath and was passed under his parents legs—an experience that shaped his lifelong connection to breath. Safety note: breath-holding should never be practiced in or near water. While many people recall experimenting with holding their breath as children, professional breath training is conducted safely on dry land. Historically, breath training was not widely taught or emphasized in modern culture. Mr. Carr’s early focus was on cardiovascular endurance for athletic performance. Over time, he applied breath principles while working with K-12 special education students, teaching more efficient breathing patterns and observing improvements that extended beyond academics, including reduced behavioral challenges. As an adult athlete, particularly in competitive rugby, Mr. Carr continued refining his breathwork—initially for performance and later as a tool for managing acute and chronic pain. After resolving his own chronic pain, he began applying these methods with clients and observed consistent results (see “Posture” section, AlignSmart).

“Better than 90% of the brain's output is directed toward maintaining the body in its gravitational field. Therefore, the less energy spent on posture, the more energy is available for healing, digestion, and thinking.” — Roger W. Sperry
Mr. Carr’s journey into Kinesiology began at the age of 14 and continued into college. His professional work in this field began with his own recovery—addressing muscular compensations, resolving chronic pain, and ultimately avoiding spinal fusion and joint reconstruction procedures. Posture and breath are deeply interconnected (see the interview with Chuck McGee III in the Resources section). Optimal posture supports efficient breathing, and effective breathing reinforces proper posture. Together, they form the foundation for overall health and performance. While proper posture is often easy to recognize, many individuals are unaware of their own postural imbalances as they gradually develop over time. Modern lifestyles frequently contribute to this decline through repetitive stress, injury, asymmetry (right/left dominance), and prolonged sitting. In early human development, posture is established through neurological patterning. Unlike many animals, humans are not born ready to stand or run. It takes approximately the first year of life to develop the neuromuscular coordination required to stand upright and move efficiently against gravity. Ideally, a lifetime of functional movement would reinforce these patterns—but in reality, they are often disrupted. Through his own rehabilitation process, Mr. Carr became a certified posture specialist using AlignSmart Technologies. This system is designed to help restore the body’s original neurological and structural alignment. AlignSmart works by analyzing 20 key bony landmarks to assess asymmetries in the body. Using this data—now available through virtual assessment supported by AI—a personalized report is generated. This report prescribes targeted exercises that retrain the brain and body to work together more efficiently: right to left, top to bottom, and across all three planes of motion. The goal is to reestablish the foundational movement patterns developed in early life, reducing compensation and improving overall function. Back pain remains one of the leading causes of missed work worldwide. As a result, the AlignSmart method is gaining traction across multiple sectors, including physical therapy education programs, corporate wellness initiatives, private gyms, and government agencies. Many organizations now offer AlignSmart services as part of employee wellness programs, often with incentives. For those interested, a free two-week trial is available at getalignsmart.com/seekers, followed by the option to work directly with Mr. Carr either in person (Folsom, CA) or virtually.

Behavior Support
&
Applied Psychology
A central focus of Mr. Carr’s work is identifying and applying the right motivational drivers to help individuals achieve meaningful goals. Behavior is often misunderstood as something to control; however, Mr. Carr does not approach behavior through control. Instead, he views behavior as a form of communication.
At times, communication is clear. In other cases, it requires careful observation and analysis. Once the underlying message is understood, an appropriate response can be implemented to guide more effective and productive outcomes. Services Offered Mr. Carr provides behavior support across multiple levels, including: •Individual behavior plans for specific goals or tasks •Adult negative habit reduction and replacement options. •Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) for classrooms or school sites •Consultation for educators, administrators, and families •Broader organizational support (see Culture Change services) His approach emphasizes practical strategies, clear communication, and sustainable change. Broader Application Behavior support extends beyond academics. It often influences relationships, performance, and overall life outcomes. As a result, this work may overlap with coaching and personal development, helping individuals build awareness, discipline, and more effective patterns of behavior across all areas of life. Over a 20-year career, Mr. Carr has worked extensively at the intersection of behavior and psychology. While he is not a licensed psychologist or psychiatrist, he is a professional behaviorist (ABA, applied behavior analysist) with substantial training and practical experience in applied psychology. Significant behavioral challenges can arise at any stage of development—both for individuals with disabilities and those without. In educational environments, these behaviors can impact not only student outcomes but also teachers, administrators, and overall school culture. In some cases, students may require alternative placements, while staff may experience burnout due to ongoing exposure to high-intensity situations. Because behavior is dynamic and constantly evolving, it plays a critical role in the learning process across all age groups. Learning new skills can be uncomfortable—especially when self-awareness and discipline are still developing, or when instruction occurs within emotionally charged relationships, such as between parent and child.

Organization/Domestic
Culture Change
This service can be applied to small companies, teams, or even the family unit.
Mr. Carr learned early on that meaningful change does not begin with mandates—it begins with relationships. By building trust first, Mr. Carr can introduce new ideas, including those tied to state requirements, in a way that encourages collaboration rather than resistance. At its core, this work expands on principles outlined in the “Behavior” section—scaling individual support strategies (such as Positive Behavior Intervention Systems, PBIS) across entire teams or organizations. Process This service begins with a 15-minute introductory conversation to determine alignment and readiness. From there: •A ride-along or on-site observation is conducted to understand team dynamics, workflow, and environment •A deeper assessment is completed for larger or more complex organizations •The engagement functions as a two-way interview to ensure mutual fit If both parties choose to proceed, regular meetings are established to define, implement, and review measurable and observable goals. Leadership Commitment Successful culture change requires commitment from leadership. When direction comes from the top, the organization has a chance to changer culture. Leaders must actively support and implement agreed-upon strategies for meaningful change to occur. Areas of Evaluation Existing wellness and organizational structures are reviewed, including: Mental Health •Stress management programs •Meditation or mindfulness tools •Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) Physical Health •Movement integration (e.g., walking meetings) •Ergonomic workspaces (e.g., workstation readiness) •Nutrition and wellness incentives •Gym membership support Social & Financial Well-Being •Team-building initiatives •Community engagement and volunteering •Financial literacy and retirement planning resources During his teacher credential program, Mr. Carr was trained to act as a change agent within school systems. That role became very real as he began advocating for students and families who required individualized support within often complex and fast-moving environments. Beyond education, Mr. Carr has been part of multiple championship teams and high-performing organizations. In these environments, he developed a consistent ability to “read the room” and positively influence group dynamics to maximize collective output. When embedded within an organization, Mr. Carr can more directly influence change. However, organizational culture change is one of the most complex services offered and typically requires a longer-term commitment. The scope and timeline depend largely on leadership alignment and where the initiative originates within the organization.
Consultation
Services may be delivered at varying levels of frequency—from one-time speaking engagements or consultations to ongoing teaching and coaching. Each engagement is flexible and tailored to the scope of the client’s needs.
All services are contingent upon a two-way interview process to ensure a strong fit between Mr. Carr and the client. This alignment is essential for effective collaboration and meaningful outcomes.
In many cases, the scope of services evolves over time. As work begins, additional needs—such as behavior support, posture alignment, or breath coaching—may be identified. When appropriate, services can be expanded by mutual agreement, with regular check-ins to reassess goals and progress.
Mr. Carr has frequently worked with organizations that initially requested a one-time presentation, only to discover that ongoing coaching or consulting was needed to fully support their objectives.

Getting Started
All services begin with a required 15-minute phone or video consultation. This initial conversation is designed to assess the client’s needs and determine how Mr. Carr can best develop a plan of action aligned with their goals.
